(Search Engine Optimization) Demystified

We strongly encourage you to go to the url links for each of these tools and review what they provide. Better yet grab a pen and paper and jot down some notes on what they do, you will begin to get a clearer picture of how broadly you can impact your market and how significant having a credible online presence can be.

That note taking will help you understand what type of blueprint you need to effectively create your business web presence and how far you can actually take it.

Once we have a foundation of information on what your current internet presence is we are then going to do a deep analysis of competitors in your market space – NOT a few competitors, but a minimum of twenty competitors using a variety of tools:

The tools outlined below are primarily used to analyze the best possible keyword, and back-linking options to leverage your site and its effectiveness at ranking #1 on the search sites such as:

  • Google,
  • Bing
  • Yahoo
  • Baidu
  • AOL
  • Ask.com
  • Excite

AHRefs https://ahrefs.com/dashboard/metrics  We use ahrefs to manage and monitor on a daily basis – your websites Domain health, your Domain rating, your Backlinks, your Referring Domains, your ‘Organic’ keywords, your Tracked keywords. This a daily tool for what we do for your site management.

SEMrush  https://www.semrush.com/  We use SEMrush for Analytics, SEMrush gives us excellent competitor analysis and organic research of keywords for your market, also what keywords your competitors are using,  and Advertising Research to uncover Your competitors’ advertising strategies and budget.  We  analyze your online rivals’ Ad Copies and Keywords. And we use SEMrush to help localize your Ad campaigns.

Screaming Frog   https://www.screamingfrog.co.uk/about/  (this is one of our favorite tools and one of  the best SEO log analyzer tools out there) – This is technical jargon but we use this tool to find broken links on your website, fix any aberrant errors & redirects, view bot crawl frequency, identify large & slow URLs, find uncrawled & orphan URLs, combine & compare crawl data. (That’s a lot of technical jargon, but it’s critically important in keeping your site healthy).

Spy Fu – https://www.spyfu.com/ We use this tool extensively to search for any competitive domains and see every place they’ve shown up on Google. That is  every keyword they’ve bought on Adwords, every organic rank, and every ad variation in the last 10 years. We then determine if we should connect with these domains, too. Spy Fu helps us find online and traditional leads methods such as social media, email, phone, and addresses that you can’t find anywhere else to garner competitive information and create campaigns to compete for their customers. This is a professional tool for everything SEO.

This tool is like a Gatling gun in terms of leveraging things quickly.

We use a host of other tools to sharpen the knife on your website presence and SEO positioning:

Content Row http://www.contentrow.com/ Is a simple content marketing tool. It allows us to make quick analysis on website content, Blog content, and article content, it’s like a quick calculator of mainly content related material.

Buzzstream’s Buzzmaker   http://www.buzzstream.com/   – This is a tool that we use that researches industry and market connections – Buzzstream allows us to build a social network with relevant key industry players – it automates that process significantly. You want to develop industry credibility as you scale your online presence and this tool help us leverage that for you on the ‘telling your story’ side of your web presence. It also a tool for building a customer list.

MOZ  https://moz.com/  –  We use MOZ because there are thousands of places where a citation – a mention of your business name and address, phone number or website – can be built for your local business. Every local business should focus on building a strong core of citations that not only broadens the visibility of the business, but also strengthen search engines’ “trust” in the validity of the business’s existence. High-quality, authoritative citations are also viewed by experts as the #1 ranking factor in competitive local search markets. (This is one of the first tools we use in starting to create your ranking and significant niche ranking on the web).

Mypresences.com https://www.mypresences.com/ –  We use this tool to leverage your company into 100’s of sites – part of the backlink strategy. Take a long look at this site, play around with the ‘Explore Services’ feature and start to imagine what it can do for scaling your business. It’s really cool!

Pitchbox.com – http://pitchbox.com/ We use pitchbox to  find influencers in your niche in a matter of seconds.  This also helps us with integration with top SEO providers, such as Moz, Majestic, SEMRush, and LRT ensure that you only pull back the most authoritative publishers. Promotehour.com   – http://promotehour.com/ When this applies we use this to promote your business across the top sites for giving you extensive media coverage. Heyo.com – http://heyo.com/  Look this over carefully; we use Heyo for our companies products and services. You want  leads, leads, leads, but you want them to be quality leads that return tangible results for your business. Hey you – you want heyo working for you.

Strikingly.com – https://www.strikingly.com/ Early on in our ‘getting schooled’ in this business I was on a webinar with one of the early titans of the internet, John Reese, (look him up), in the webinar he casually mentioned that he didn’t have one website, he had over 70+ sites that re-directed back to his main website. That floored me that we hadn’t thought of that. (Have you ever only seen one David Yurman Jewelry roadside billboard?) This tool allows us to quickly create and replicate multiple sites all ‘pointing’ back to your main site. This gives you more credibility in the rankings. It is a big part of what makes ranking organically so important.  Once we have your primary site critically evaluated and optimized we can then launch as many ‘Landing Page’ sites as necessary, quickly efficiently. We use strikingly and other site builders to quickly replicate what’s needed to launch an aggressive campaign.

Buffer https://buffer.com/ – Here’s a big part of where the rubber meets the road. When you’re ready, when your primary site is built and optimized, when your citations are set, when everything that needs to be done before this phase is done, we then look to use Buffer to go to market.  We work with your team and draw out a complete annual campaign – from news articles, to seasonal information, to video archive etc. we then set up every relevant social and citation site that we connect you to and then trigger the dates and time to release the announcements. Buffer is a scheduling tool, allowing you to quickly and easily share posts to your social media profiles. You’re able to schedule all your posts in advance and then Buffer will send them out automatically per the posting schedule you put in place. Buffer also provides analytics, allowing us to track engagement and interactions on the posts you’ve shared, which means you can see how your content is performing and which resonates most with your audiences.

Paper.li   http://paper.li/ We use Paper.li for content curation for your blog, Facebook, Google + and all your social media sites. This is a simple site for collecting content about a topic related to your business, then once that is collected we use the site dashboard to launch the information onto as many sites related to your niche market as possible.

Scoop.it http://www.scoop.it/ This is another content curation tool that we also use for intelligent content curation and automating the delivery to all or your respective social media sites. This adds the content relevant material that you need on a continual basis to develop more traffic and more leads for your business. We don’t just use one content curation tool because they each ‘crawl’ the web for content and material differently. We do everything to keep it fresh and effective.
